POLITICAL.

ON THE WARPATH.

Press A.B39ciati*n,

GREYMOUTH, April 17. Last night Messrs Atmore, M'Callum, and Hanan, M.P.'s, addressed a large audience in the Town Hall. Mr Atmore was the principal speaker, and his address was on lines similar to those already given in other centres. The meeting was presided over by the Mayor, and was very orderly till question time, when the speakers were bombarded with questions. There were lively exchanges between Mr Atmore and a prominent Reform supporter, which ended in personalities. A vote of thanks and confidence in the Liberal Party was carried with few dissentients. The meeting ended with cheers for the speakers and Sir Joseph Ward.
