a THE JUNIOR INTER-CLUB COMPETITION. ■ The Junior B Grade Interclub Competition I of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association was continued on the various courts to-day. For the most part the weather was good, but towards the end of the afternoon the wind was a little, too keen to be pleasant. Following- are results: — AVONSIDE v. NEW BRIGHTON. This match was abandoned, as the Avouside courts, where it should have been played, were occupied by games standing over from the recent tournament, and the New Brighton courts were occupied also. LINWOOD v. UNITED. Linwood beat United by default. ADDINGTON A v. ADDINGTON B: Addirigton A met Addington B on the club courts this afternoon.
