ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
o KILLED BY A TRAIN. Press Association. GREYMOUTII, April 17. A young man, about 20 yearn of age, was found on the Grey-Hokitika line near the Grey railway station, terribly r 'Elated. It is surmised that he was run over by the incoming 7 o'clock train. The body was removed to tlie morgue, when it was found that it was..that of John Johnston, sou of a dairyman at Kaiata. KILLED BY RUNAWAYS. Mr Alfred E. Good, a farmer residing at Cust, was accidentally killed vested day afternoon. Tie was engaged in carting grain from his own place to Mr S. Smith's, and while on his return trip Jie pulled up along the road to chat with an acquaintance. During the conversation the horses bolted with the empty waggon, and Mr Good set off in pursuit. What happened after that is not known, but Mr Good was picked i\p later with his neck broken. The deceased was 45 years of age, and he leaves a widow and four "children.
