SYDNEY ROYAL SHOW.
SUCCESS OF CHRISTCHUECH PIGEON EXHIBITORS.
The catalogue of this show has just come to hand, and it shows that Christ: church exhibitors of pigeons have been highly successful. In the class fbr English Owl cock, there were nine entries, and Mr W. B. M'Kenzie succeeded in winning first prize. In English Owl hens, in a class of six, the same exhibitor was first again. He also scored well in African Owls, being fourth in any other colour cocks, second in anyother colour hens, and first in any colour young birds. Mr R. Ashworth, also of Christchurch, was second in the lastmentioned class, which contained seven birds. Included in the exhibitors in these classes, were fanciers from South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and New Zealand, so that the competi 1 tion was quite intercolonial.
