CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS.
NOMINATIONS COMING IN. Mr A. S. Taylor, who has already represented St. Albans on the City Council for several years, has been nominated for re-election. *•* Mr James Thorn, who is the local oiganiser for the Social-Democratic Party, will be nominated by the Party for the Central Ward seat, vacated by Mr H. D. Acland. Mr R. O. Duncan is spoken of as a possible candidate for the Central Ward.
