At the Church of England. Men's Society's Conference this morning, the following executive was elected:—Reys. P. T. Williams, J. Kempthorne, and J. Brocklehurst, Messrs Nash, Banneher, and Henderson. '
The following resolutions were carried:—"That this conference, whilst urging upon each branch the extreme importance of undertaking work among boys, considers it advisable to leave it to each branch to decide the nature,au,d method of the work; but is .oij, tthe opinion that the true safeguard against losing the boys is their early confirmation.'? ~ ',"','.■'.,.', .'. The committee recommended that the Rev. J. D. Russell be appointed .organising secretary for six months..
