AKAROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The ordinary fortnightly meeting of the Akaroa Borough Council was held on Wednesday, the Bth inst., his Worship the Mayor presiding. Application for electric current for "Waeokerle Hotel was granted to Mr W. J. Blake. Application was received from several property-owners up Smith Street. The matter was referred to the Works Committee to report.
