LATEST "MATCHLESS" NEWS. A handsome victory in Sutton Goldfield M.C. trial, February 14, 1914. Record entry (250 riders). .Four absolutely standard "Matchless" machines with side-cars participated, and they won the first prize for best perforinaifce in both trade and private owners' classes, four gold medals, and special prize for best performance by team of three machines with side-cars. All the riders were mounted on the wonderful new "Matchless" side-car outfit, which all motorists arc talking about. Never before has such a remarkable win been achieved by any make whatsoever, and in the face of such a huge entry. There were 40 miles of riders.
