Mr M'Donnell Bodkin, K.C., who is prosecuting in the Fenner case, said that owing to the . large of transactions and the enormous sums involved, he must deal with the several cases separately. [Fenner, the defaulting stock broker to whom Viscount Murray of Elibank entrusted Liberal Party Funds for investment, will" have seventy-eight charges of fraudulent appropriation preferred against him. At one stage his defalcations amounted to £70,000, but it was not until he had squandered £140,000 that he was made bankrupt.]
