FOR AUCKXAND. Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 8. As a result of the conferences between the Minister of Education and-.the University Council, a recommendation will be made to Cabinet that the whole area of Government House arid grounds, and the metropolitan ground adjoining be utilised for the new university college buildings, and 'a new residence will be erected for the Governor.' For the latter purpose one suggestion is to acquire the Kilbryde property at Parnell, recently purchased by the ; Harbour Board for £IO,OOO, or another prdpcrty in the Mount Eden district.
