MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
SOUTHBROOK. The annual meeting of the Southbrook Miniature Rifle Club was held on Thursday evening, the president, Mr R. Hamilton, presiding over a.good attendance of members. The report and bal-ance-sheet was adopted. The.club won the association senior championship shield and the junior cup. The receipts were £4l 8/7, and expenditure £4l :Vl> leaving a credit balance of 5/6. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Hon. D. Buddo; president, R. Hamilton; vice-presidents, Messrs B. S. Jordan, J. Bruivton, J. T. Withers, S. Hood, B. P. Edwards, and Jas. Buckley; captain, •Mr D. W. L. Melvrtens; custodian, Mr G. Lowe; treasurer, John Marshall; secretary, R. J. Parkin; handicappers, Messrs C. Tyler, C. Archer, and D. Mehrtens. It was agreed to open ; April 6. Delegates to the Kaiapoi association, R. Hamilton and R. J. Carkin,
