Hucks, the intrepid airman, lecturing- at the Aeronautical Society, said that early troubles in aviation were due to inexperience and to lack of confidence. The present high standard was chiefly the results of improvements in piloting. The speaker justified freak flying, and declared that the w loopers" and upside-down flyers had increased their confidence enormously.
