ADDINGTON MARKET.
ANOTHER GOOD SALE. To-day the yarding at Addington was Itardly up to last week's figures, which ~will probably make the record for the season, but the sale was a big one in all departments. The store sheep were in good demand, and lambs about what has been, the average for the past four or five weeks. STORE SHEEP. There is usually a slackening off of -the very big entries in store sheep froth now on, and approximately there would be 6000 or 7000 less sheep yarded in this section to-day than on the preceding Wednesday. The number of outside sheep was again heavy and prices did not show any tendency to recede. The demand for ewes of all descriptions was fully up to what has been experienced of late, and evidently Canterbury can absorb a large number of ewes yet. There was, if anything, a bigger attendance than usual round the store pens, and the buyers were plentiful. The range of values was as follow: — Good rape lambs, 14/9 to 15/4. -Extra good rape lambs, to 16/6. Medium rape lambs, 12/10 to-14/6. Ewe lambs, to 14/11. Cull lambs, 9/3 to 10/-.
