MURDERS A WHITE MAN. AN INFURIATED MOB. Bv Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received April 1, 11.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 31. A negro woman named Marie Scott killed Lemuel Price, a young white man at Muskogee, by driving a knife into his heart. A mob broke into the Wagoner county gaol and '- overpowered the gaoler. They threw a rope over the woman's head and dragged her to. a neighbouring telephone pole, where they hanged her. As the majority of the mob were masked, it was impossible to discover their identity.
