At the enquiry into the wreck of the Saint Paul, off Cape Moreton, evidence showed tha,t it was the captain 's first command of the steamer. A native who was at the wheel heard the captain say he had lost his bearings. It is not considered that any bodies will be recovered, as the spot is infested by enormous and ferocious sharks. The enquiry has been adjourned.
