At a meeting of the Regimental Institutes Committee of the Church of England Men's Society reports were presented to the effect that all arangenients in connection with the forthcoming camp were well in hand. The committee expressed a hope that members of the society and all Church people will radily rspond to the appeal that has been made to them for the gift of magazines and illustrated papers, and also for the loan of games for the use of men in camp. Mesdames C. Clifton and J. I. Royds were unanimously elected by the local auxiliary to represent Christchurch on the Y.M.C.A. Ladies' Auxiliary National Committee. Mrs E. C. Brownell was elected at the Auckland Convention, chairman of the National Executive. A Press Association cablegram from Loudon announces the death of Professor Sir Herbert von Herkomer, the eminent scholar and author.
