ADDINGTON SALE.

ANOTHER BIG YARDING.

At the metropolitan markets to-day-there was another big yarding, and practically every available pen was utilised to accommodate the store sheep which came forward. They sold freely at prices on a parity with last week's rates. The fat lambs were not so plentiful as last week, when over 6000 were penned. Tat sheep were also a little below the average yardings for this season of the year. FAT LAMBS. The tone of the bidding was hardly as bright as last week, and prices were a trifle easier, about" id per lb would cover the depreciation. The feed is becoming scarce, and growers are sending forward larger supplies than for previous sales, and consequently there is not the same care in drafting, them on the farm. By the time the last trucks were emptied the yarding slightly exceeded that of last week. There were 6669 lambs yarded last week, and to-day's total was 6729. The average price per lb was as follows: — Prime freezers below 421b ssd.
