STEFANSSON'S EXPEDITION.
SEARCH PARTY ORGANISED. By Cable. — .Press Association. — Copyright. (Received March 25, 1.35 p.m.) OTTAWA, March 24. The Canadian Government has chartered the whaler Herman at San Francisco to search for Stefansson 's party in the Arctic. Captain Pederson, who will be the leader of the search, believes that Karluk, Stef ansson's ship, has been lost in the ice north of Point Barrow.
