LODGE MEETINGS.

A meeting of Court Star of Canterbury, Ancient Order of Foresters, was hold on Monday, Brother *C. Higgott, Chief Eanger, in the chair. Bro. C. Cooper, district secretary, forwarded a copy of the revised Court rules duly registered. Dr J. C. Pairman was elected as medical officer, in place of Dr Fleming, who through ill-health, was unable to fill the position. Eegarding the United Friendly Societies' Card Associationy it was decided to combine with Court Thistle of the Forest and enter a team to be called "The Foresters' combined team.'' Bro. J. Y. Beattie, on behalf of the court, presented Bro. G. G. Brooks, P.C.E., with a framed certificate and neck ribbon, in recognition of his past services. Bro. Brooks suitably replied. . It was decided to hold the report and balance-sheet of the Friendly Societies' Dispensary over until next meeting. '
