HIDEOUS TORTURES.
RAPINE AND MURDER. "WHITE WOLF" BRIGANDS. "Timet" and "Sydney . Sun" Service*. PEKING, March 16. Missionaries report that, during the pillage of Laoho-Kou, " White Wolves" killed 1500 and wounded 4000 people. Hideous tortures were inflicted, to discover hidden valuables. Every woman and girl seen by the brigands was ravished, and many mutilated and murdered. Property valued at £1,000,000 was looted. ■ The countryfolk are too terrified to give information.
