The blaze originated in Moore and Fitzsimmons's barbers' salopu and Spread to the premises of Dalton, land agent, "Eames, chemist, Merriman, -jeweller, and Dixon's Hall. The block and its contents were destroyed..' r Cathie's stationery premises were and much damaged, but the brigade* arrested the' progress of the fire, though not before the stock was practically ruined.
