FIRES.
EARLY MORNING
At 12.30 this morning a fire was noticed in the roof of the premises, 57 Victoria Street, occupied by J. C. Fleming, cycle and motor dealer. The brigade was quickly in attendance, and an exceedingly good save was effected. The cause of the outbreak can in no way be accounted for. It occurred in the roof, which is covered with galvanised iron, match-lined with wood. The fire burned practically till the wood lining, and destroyed -two bi-ycles- and viino.ii tools, but was: Un-Uijy ronfint>d w ihe top floor.
