A train smash has occurred afe Exeter on the southern line, but ftill details are not available: It is believed that seven people were killed and twenty injured. v At Temora the mail train from Sydney crashed into a stationary goods train, telescoping a passenger'car and a sleeping car, and derailing the engine. A scene of the wildest confusion rresulted. *' - * *'*•*' Relief trains conveying officials and doctors have been despatched to the c scene. • Rain and mist obscured the signals, and this is believed to have caused 9 collision.
