WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this Office up*to Noon of TUESDAY, the 24th March, 19,14, for the* Sole Right of Displaying Automatic Machines at Stations on the following Sections of the New Zealand Government Railways, with their extensions, for a period of three years from Ist April, 1914: — North Island Main Line and Branches (including Kawakawa-Whangarei, Kaihu, and Gisbarne Sections). South Island Main Line and Branches (including Westland, Westport, Nelson, and Picton Sections). Tenders must be addressed to the General Manager New Zealand Government Railways, Wellington, and marked outside, "Tender for Right of Displaying Automatic Machines," and must also be accompanied by a marked cheque on some bank for the specified amount in favour of the Receiver-General's deposit account only, and not to'bearer or order. Specifications and conditions of contract, with forms of tender, can be obtained at the Railway Stations at Auckland, Ohakune, Wellington, Wanganui, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill and at this Office, \ ' The highest or any tender not neoessarily accepted. - .
