Osterley, was entertained at dinner on the steamer at Sydney recently by' a number of friends on. the occasion of his having completed his hundredth voyage for the company. Commander W. J. Jenks, in proposing Mr Sparks's health, stated that he had travelled as third officer and captain with Mr : Sparks as purser, during the last' 24 years, during which-period he had only been in three different steamers. Mr C. Broadley has joined the Ngatoro as second Mr K. Garveyi third engineer of the vessel,;. has come ashore. This'morning the Shaw, Savill steamer "Waimana left Wellington for 'London.
