CHRIST'S COLLEGE v. BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL.

The inter-school match between Christ's College and Boys' High School was continued yesterday, ending in a draw, which was a virtual first innings win for College. On the single innings scores, High School's total fell sixteen short of that made"by College. After THE SUN went to press last eveningGuiney continued careful play, and his score included thirteen consecutive singles and a two. Larner was bowling fast straight stuff lacking length; he was replaced by Battray. Hamilton went on to his twenty-fifth over and Guiney was caught by Wanklyn at the third ball for 43. The total was 130. Hamilton shortly got another wicket, clean bowling "Woods for 47. Again Burdon sent down a slow one, the fourth ball of the over, and Graham came out for three. The total was 177 for seven, as compared with 209 for seven on the College quota. Nightingale joined Corbett. Hamilton had bowled continuously for two hours and a half, and was all the time keeping a surprisingly good length. Corbett hit a four that put 200 up. High School were; left with 43 to make for the last -two wickets. School had seventeen to make to win when Hamilton went on to bowl. Nightingale tried to score off a short hop up the pitch, but was run out. Parker didn't stay long, and Shaw, the last man, went in, and the game gave promise of an exciting finish. The totals were still the same. Hamilton had bowled his fortieth over. Lowry caught .Shaw off Burden behind the wicket, and School were all out for 226, just sixteen short of the College total.
