CLEARING UP. The exceptionally late shearing, and*, in some measure, the effects of the strike, necessitated an extra wool sale fchis year. The sale commenced, this afternoon, and was proceeding when THE SUN went to press. There was a "good attendance of buyer's, and bidding was. fairly brisk, though in many cases sellers' ideas of values were -rather high, and quite a number of lots' were passed* ''■"'. Generally, the wool is mostly of an inferior class, and prices are about equal to the last sale, when quality is considered. "
