PERJURERS SENT TO GAOL. BAND CASE RECALLED. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright. (Received February 26, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, February 25. In the case in 1911 in wliiclT Sir J. B. Robinson obtained £IOOO from Louis Cohen for libel, Cohen has now bfeen sentenced to three years' penal servitude for subornation of James Berger. Berger was an impresario who was sentenced to three years' imprisonment for perjury in giving evidence against Sir J. B. Robinson concerning an alleged incident in Kimberley in 1879. Victor Woolf, a South African mining engineer, has been sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment with hard labour for perjury.
