CHIDLEY FOUND GUILTY.

By Gable.—Press Association. — Copyright. (Received February 14, 8.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, February 14. Recently the police seized at the rooms of W. J. Chidley (of "simple life" fame) 1700 copies of his book "The Answer," in addition to copies of pictures' and photographed slides used in the production of the book. Chidley has been charged with being the occupier of premises where indecent publications were found and was convicted. His sentence of two months' imprisonment was suspended pending an appeal, under sureties that he would be of good behaviour for twelve months. The confiscation of the books and pictures was ordered.
