WATERFRONT ROADWAY AT NIGHT OUTLINED IN LAMPS At night the Waterfront Road will | present a beautiful sight from the ! harbour or the North Shore, for it is the City Council’s intention to place j lights at intervals of 300 ft, on the j standards now being erected along the route. I On the recommendation of the City Engineer. Mr. J. Tyler, the council decided last evening to place 24 attractive lamps, each of 250 candlepower, between Campbell Point and Hobson Point, seven round Gower’s Point and 30 on the uncompleted middle section between Hobson Point and Mission Bay. The annual cost of lighting the entiro road will be £B6O a year.
