PRISONER ESCAPES
LEAVES TOKAANU CAMP YiAY BE GOING TO NAPIER Prowl Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. The Hamilton police have received advice of the escape from the Hautu Prison Camp, Tokaanu, of Thomas Douglas Forsyth, who was sentenced in Wellihgton in July for the unlawful conversion of a motor-car. Forsyth is 23 years of age and sft. Sin. in height. He has a fresh complexion, light brown hair and grey eyes. He is strongly built. It was believed that Forsyth was making his way toward Napier on a motor-cycle, for a broken-down machine was abandoned at Taupo.
