WOOL PRICES FIRM
SYDNEY, Thursday. At the Sydney wool sales today the offerings totalled 11.660 bales. 9.555 being sold. Also L 906 bales were disposed of privately. The market was very firm for stylish quality wools, competition for which continued keen from French. German and Japanese buyers and to a lesser extent from Yorkshire and American buyers. Greasy Merino sold to 17id.
