POLICE ARREST SUSPECT THIS MORNING NUMBER OF CHARGES Tlie police expect that a number of thefts from houses in the suburbs will be cleared up following an arrest made this morning. A man was arrested in his room in a city building by Detectives Allen and Hunt. He will be charged in the Police Court tomorrow morning with offences connected with thefts from dwellings at Devonport and In the Newmarket district. Detectives are searching the arrested man’s room thoroughly in sear eli of property removed from houses which have recently been visited by thieves.
