NEW LEAGUE CONTROL

ONLY SENIOR DELEGATES ON COMMITTEE A.R.L. EXECUTIVE MEETS In future only the delegates of the six senior clubs which will comprise the senior grade, will sit on the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League. A recommendation to this effect from the special committee which is investigating the standard and control of tho League code in Auckland was adopted at the meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening. The chairman. Mr. G. Rhodes, said tho conference discussed many matters for some hours, but no finality had been arrived at. He said a further conference with several clubs had been arranged and a definite policy would be announced in the course of two weeks. The South Auckland Rugby League wrote accepting an offer to play the champion club team at Carlaw Park. The matter was left in the hands of the secretary to arrange a date. It was decided to play a special match between City and Devonport on Saturday week to decide the runnerup for the senior grade championship.
