East Tamaki Club’s Annual Function PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES The East Tamaki public ball was prettily decorated with a canopy of streamers and nikau palms last Wednesday evening, when the- East Tamaki Tennis Club held its annual dance. Tho Carnival Five Orchestra contributed a very enjoyable programme of dance music. During the evening Mr. H. Christensen presented the club trophies won during the season to Miss Ferguson, Miss Sherry, and Mr. Wyman. Among those present were: Mrs. H. Christensen, who was wearing black georgette with reliefs of lace; Mrs. It. Whyte, mauve crepe de chine, flnislied with gold lace; Mrs. Kemp, sapphire blue maroeain and posy; Mrs. A. T. Johnson, electric blue crepe de chine, with uneven hemline; Mrs. A. .Bellingham, paon blue' taffeta; Airs. J. Kitto, nile green georgette, finished with bead trimmings; Mrs. F. Sanford, lemon taffeta frock; Airs. Rebels, frocked in cornflower blue satin carreau; Aliss R. AT. Thorpe, rose pink silk net, finished with large bow; Miss L. Queen, Moral patterned georgette and lace; Aliss Esther Watts, aslies of roses sequined georgette; Aliss E. Hill, frocked in cinnamon georgette; Aliss M. Hill, leaf green satin beaute; Aliss I. G. Baird (Ardmore), lettuce green silk iace, with tiered skirt; Aliss A. Ferguson, frock of black panne velvet; Aliss Barrie, primrose and green talTeta, with uneven tulle hem. ALiss L. Ivingsford, in cherry crepe de chine, trimmed with gold lace; Miss Ivy Blake, apple, green crepe de chine, and diamente trimmings; Aliss Jessie Liaverstock, shell pink georgette, inlet with silver motifs; Miss B. Ferguson, frocked in apricot satin carreau; Miss E. F. Jones (Olevedon), shell pink georgette, with flared pointed skirt; Aliss L. Cryer, orchid pink crepe de chine, with frilled skirt; Miss K. McKee, frock of cyclamen shaded taffeta; Aliss M. Kemp, cameo pink satin; AJiss Al. Fairweather, anklelength frock of pink taffeta; Aliss I. Sherry, lichen green taffeta; Miss 1. Manning, azure blue satin, with trimmings of self-coloured tulle; Aliss B. Brown, shrimp pink georgette; Aliss JO. Queen, ashes of roses crepe de chine; Aliss Alargaret Baird, frock of apple green georgette; Aliss Sybil Gillard, frocked in flame taffeta; Miss Kathleen Cooper, rose pink satin and shoulder spray.
