Last year’s programme was purely for hacks, but one hurdle race and two open events have been substituted for the coming meeting. TRY AGAIN Tales from the K.A.F. Cadets being Instructed in the use of the parachute. Instructor makes this little speech: "When leaving the airplane, count three after jumping, and then pull this ring. The parachute will then open and land you as, light as a maiden’s kiss. If the parachute doesn't open, return it to the quartermaster’s stores and draw another one."
