ULIMAOROA 8 A.M. TOMORROW.— Radio advice from the Union Steam Ship company s intercolonial steamer Ulimaroa states that she expects to arrive at Auckland from Sydney at eight o’clock moi " r ! m ?' with passengers, mail and cargo No berth had been allotted this morning. FERN WOOD ARRIVES.—An arrival yesterday morning was the Norwegian motor-ship F ernwood from Tampico. She has a. cargo of nearly 7,000 tons of asphalt uni from Tampico and also a small quantity of general cargo from New Orleans. The vessel berthed at Prince s Wharf to put out the local part of her cargo and she is to sail this afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui. New Plymouth and Australia to complete discharge. She sailed from Denmark on June 26 and proceeded to Bremen, where she loaded a cargo of fertiliser which was discharged at Baltimore. Afterward she loaded her present c*rgo She sailed from Tampico on August 14 and cleared Panama on August 21. Except foi* boisterous conditions when she was nearing New Zealand generally fair weather prevailed on the voyage. YARRAVILLE FROM SAN FRANCISCO.—An arrival at Auckland yesterday morning was the Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Yarraville from San Francisco with 3,769,000 gallons of bulk oil fuel. She berthed at Western Wharf to discharge her local consignment of I, gallons and is to sail for Sydney and Brisbane at 5 o’clock this afternoon to complete discharge. The Yarraville, which is on her second visit to Auckland, left San Francisco on August 28 and encountered comparatively fine weather until she was nearing the New Zealand coast, when she ran into heavy seas and south-westerly winds. Captain A. Cook is in command of the Yarraville and the following are the officers:—Chief, Mr. T S. Scott: second, Mr. W. J. Tait; third Mr. G. S. McWilliam; wireless operator’ Mr. P. V. Dunn; chief engineer, Mr. W. Stapleford; second, Air. R. LongfieldJones ;third, Mr. T. Murray; fourth. Mr. J. Whitelaw. The crew numbers 42 ali ! told, 10 Europeans and 33 Chinese.
