WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
NO SERIOUS INJURIES An elderly man, Mr. Frank Ward, aged 66, of 146 Hobson Street, was knocked down by a taxicab while he was crossing the intersection of Wellesley Street and Vincent Street early on Saturday evening. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion. His condition is reported to be not serious. A woman aged 93, Mrs. Margaret Lee, fell down some stairs at her home at 86 Brown Street, Ponsonby, on Saturday afternoon, and suffered concussion. Her condition this morning was reported by the hospital authorities to be satisfactory. Through his cycle colliding with a post near his home at 27 Balmain Road, Birkenhead, last evening, Harry Munce, aged 15, hurt his baeje and received internal injuries. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the North Shore Ambulance. His condition this morning was satisfactory*
