During the evening orchestral numbers were played by the staff orchestra, of Sargood, Son and Ewen, Ltd. Hollowing were the items given: Songs, Messrs. A. Crossley and R. C. i Vvilson; humorous recitation, Mr. R. ' Yates. The toast list was as follows: "The King,” proposed bv Mr. C. C. Bach: “Association Day,” proposed by Mr. Eliot Davis (vice-patron), and replied by by Mr. Bach; "Parliament.” proposed by Mr. W. H. Prontis (pastpresident). and replied to by the Hon. v r - Veitch: "The Association,” proposed by Mr. I. Brown, and replied to by Mr. A. Thompson: "Distinguished Visitors,” proposed by Mr. H.
