ANNUAL MEETING H*L» I'rom Our Own Correspondent TAUPIRI, Thursday. A meeting of the Taupiri Bowlin? Club was held in the Taupiri Hall on Monday. The election of a match committee. left over from the annual meeting held in July, resulted in the following being elected: Messrs- R. T. Hill, C. M. Gleeson, and J. .Murphy. * The president and secretary, Messrs. G. Horwood and F. C. Day. who had been authorised, at a previous meetine, to interview Mr. R. T. Hill the owrer of the section adjoining the bowling green, reported that Mr. Hill was wiliint; to sell the section to the Bowling Club for use as a croquet lawn. The Bowling Club beg£n a couple of years ago. and thanks to the enthusiasm of the various sections, the club :J tor its grounds and pavilion. The club now feels that a croquet lawn should be provided. A works committee \ra&" appointed and it is hoped that a portion of the ground will be made ready for use as a croquet la.wn during the coming season.
