SAFES BLOWN OPEN
USEFUL HAULS NETTED BY SYDNEY CROOKS DUPLICATE KEYS HELD Reed. 10.45 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A sang of expert thieves is working in the city. Two safes at the Producers’ Cooperative Distributing Company were blown open and about £SOO taken. Duplicate keys were used to open five shops in a State shopping block, and assorted goods valued at £6OO were stolen.
