MUNICIPAL CHOIR CONCERT

Miss Kate Campion, the well-known operatic singer, will be the vocalist at the Municipal Choir concert in the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. She will sing airs from operas by Gounod and Tschaikowski, and Slater’s “Buy My Roses.” A varied selection of choral works will be sung by the Municipal Choir. One of the most colourful sequences in “Son of the Gods." starring Richard Barthelmess, is a Chinese funeral in San Ei-aneisco. The seauence was done entirely in technicolour and retains the authentic colours of costumes, banners, etc.
