MARRIAGES DISSOLVED
WIVES GRANTED DIVORCES After 29 years of married life together, Margaret Taylor Allen and her husband, "Woolsey Allen, parted by mutual agreement, on account of disputes between them. Mrs. Allen gave this evidence before Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court this morning, when she sought dissolution of her marriage on the ground of mutual separation. No evidence was offered by Mr. Finlay on the husband’s original petition According to Mrs. Allen, the marriage took place on December 28, 1897. and there were ‘three children. Site had separated from her husband once before September. 1926, when they finally parted. He left the home and agreed to pay her £7 a week maintenance, the. amount subsequently, however, being reduced to £4 weekly. A decree nisi was-granted. On the ground of mutual separation lor more than three years, Ida Palmer Greenwood (Mr. Hore) was granted a decree nisi against Joseph C. Greenwood (Mr. Jacka). The parties were married in> December, 1913. and parted on account of differences on April 9, 1927.
