At a meeting of the Athletic Association of the Great Public Schools, r. motion was carried declaring the 1930 eight-oar championship “no race.” The committee made no comment regarding the allegations of irregularities in connection with the training of the crew of the Sydney High School, winner of the head-of-the-river race and Sydney Grammar School, both of whom were disqualified.
