OLD MAN’S DEATH

FOUND BESIDE BED INQUEST ADJOURNED , An inquest concerning the death of James Wright, an old-age pensioner, aged 88, at 22 Baker Street, was opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, coroner, yesterday. Evidence of identification was given by a sou, Thomas John Wright. Constable Yeoward, of Freeman's Bay, said that he called at Wright’s house yesterday and found it locked. He gained admittance through a window and found Wright lying dead by his bedside. He was only partly dressed and appeared to have been dead for two or three days. The inquest was then adjourned.
