KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY
ELDERLY MAN INJURED From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. An elderly employee of the Raglan County Council, Mr. Janies Veitch, was knocked down and run over by a motor-lorry driven by Mr. Herbert Edward Whitford, of Avondale, at Ngaruaw’ahia on Saturday. The injured man was attended by Dr. Isdale, and subsequently removed to the Waikato Hospital. He was found to have suffered broken ribs and what is probably a fracture of the pelvis.
