CONCESSION TO SETTLERS From Ofor Own Correspondent TAUMARUNUI, Monday ✓ After a great deal of negotiation, a very important concession has been made to settlers in the district on the route of the Ohura - Stratford railway, the announcerhent being made at the annual meeting of the Ohura V'alley Dairy Co., Ltd. The Minister of Public Works has informed representatives of the Farmers’ Union that in future freight charges on the Public Works line would be on the same scale as those charged by the Railway Department The decision is a most important one for the locality, affecting as it does vast amounts of material sent from and reqtiired on the farms. - - ■
