AUCKLAND CHOIR

Programme For Next Concert ATTRACTIVE VARIETY The concert arranged by the Royal Auckland Chqtir for Thursday August St gives promise of a pleasant entertainment. ¥ho programme is well varied and includes several popular part songs and solos. The choir numbers will include the following: “Hymn to Cynthia,” “The Lee Shore" (Jenkins), vocal trio “To tho Stars,’*'“Pirate Dreams” (with contralto soip), “The Flag,” “The Smugglers” and “A Wet Sheet and a Flow ing Sea’"- (Lloyd). Miss Mina Caldow will be the vocal

soloist of the evening and tho Moore Sisters (instrumental trio) will play “Rondo Alla Turca” (Mozart) and Minuet from “Military Symphony’’ (Haydn). In addition Mr. Eric Bell will play a piano solo, Rhapsodie Hongroise, No. 6 (Liszt) and the Boys’ Choir from Mount Albert Grammar School will sing an item yet to be selected.
