ENJOYABLE DANCE
MANUREWA CATHOLICS A \ cry enjoyable dance, organised by tho members of the Manurewa Catholic Church, was held in the the Manurewa Town Hall on Tuesday evening. A pleasing programme of dance music was contributed by Bert Bullen’s Ad el phi Band. Among those present were: Mrs. Smith, whose frock was of ashes of roses satin beaute; Mrs. It. Stewart, trock of peach georgette, with trimmings of gold lace; Miss Halls, lichen green georgette; Miss lv. Noble, lemon georgette; Miss K. Burton, .paeon blue panne velvet; Miss F. Farrer, apricot crepe de chine; Miss M Donaldson, frock of patterned georgette; Miss O. Fountain, ankle of chenille georgette; Miss pretty period frock of ‘^ be taffeta; Miss L. Cutworthy, lemon georgette, with shawl to tone; Miss Pearl xriS.Tvr’* JJ she . s of roses georgette frock; frock of Patterned georSfiU, 0, Ml l s \ Jones, twilight blue taffeta, with rosebud trimmings; Miss K. Harris, irocked m amber georgette; Miss J. Harris, frock of black panne velvet, with trimmings of coffee lace: Miss D. Roberts, unrelieved frock of black crepe de chine; Miss Nancy Dempsey, frock of apricot crepe de chine; Miss S. Beaumont, flame satin c-arreau and gold lace; Miss H. Maxwell black crepe de chine, with reliefs of lace.
