SOCIAL EVENING
TRUSTEES OF CHURCH ENTERTAIN WORKERS The trustees of the Papatoetoe Methodist Church entertained the women members of the congregation and women’s guild at a very enjoyable social evening held in the church hall last evening, in recognition of the splendid services given by them for the welfare of the church. A very pleasant evening was spent in novelty competitions and community games. Musical Items were given by Messrs. G. W. Venables and Salter. During the evening, the Rev. A. W. Silvester made a presentation to Miss Edna Long, who has acted as organist at the morlng services of the church for the past four years.
